What Happens During the Service

Your stylist will discuss your colour history, current shade, and goals to decide exactly where extra foils will have the most impact—common placements include:

• Face frame for brightness around the eyes and cheekbones
• Parting and crown to lift roots that look too dark or flat
• Any sections that need extra contrast after a main colour service

The chosen strands are sectioned, weaved or sliced out, then wrapped in foil with lightener or colour. Foils trap heat and keep each section isolated for stronger, more controlled lift. Once processed, the colour is rinsed and a toner or gloss applied to blend and refine the final shade.

Who Extra Foils Suit

Extra foils work well if you:

Aftercare and Maintenance

To protect tone and keep highlighted strands healthy:

• Use sulfate-free, colour-safe shampoo and a hydrating conditioner
• Apply a deep conditioning mask weekly to strengthen lightened sections
• Limit high-heat styling or always use a heat protectant
• Avoid very hot water when washing to minimise fading
